India has emerged as a popular destination for international musicians and bands to visit, as evidenced by the end-of-the-year music festivals in 2024. With artistes from various genres coming to India, there is something for everyone this year! Check out the Ziro Festival of Music in Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh from September 26-29. Now in its 11th edition, this festival showcases emerging talent through rock contests, traditional Naga dances, and performances celebrating tribal folklore. For travel, you can fly to Dimapur airport (65 km from Kohima) or take a train to Dimapur railway station (70 km from Kohima). Another exciting festival is Magnetic Fields on December 6-8 at Alsisar Mahal, Rajasthan. While the lineup for the 10th edition is yet to be released, attendees can expect a cultural immersion full of art with this year's theme being 'Unified Field'. To get there, you can fly to Delhi or Jaipur airports (Delhi is 239 km from Alsisar Mahal, and Jaipur is 217 km) or take a train to Sadulpur Junction station (53 km from Alsisar Mahal).
